Adventures in Red Bank and Ooltewah

Hi and welcome! Let's go back and visit our first ever Saturday Adventure! When I came up with the idea to explore new areas local to us I remembered this antique store my friend Cortney had visited and I knew I wanted it to be our first stop!

If you know me you know I don't really leave the town I live in. It has all the things I could ever want so I see no reason to venture past the city limits. This antique store though looked amazing online and is about an hour away in Red Bank so way way out of my comfort zone! I messaged Cortney to get some more details about the place and we came up  with a plan to meet for lunch and go shopping. It poured down the entire way there which almost made me abort the entire thing!

I am gluten free so finding a place I can eat can make things a little difficult. Thankfully Mojo Burrito  was in the area and they were super careful when preparing my bowl! They changed gloves and even brought out fresh produce to use! After lunch we went next door to Dirty Jane's Antiques where we were met with the biggest fern I have ever seen!

This place is huge and filled with many vendors who each have their own booth to sell their items. Here are some pictures!

Afterwards we said goodbye to Cortney .  Look at that cute little pregnant belly! Veda is now 5 months old and the most squishy delicious baby! Click on her name and give her a follow. She is fun, super relatable, gives the best hair and make up tutorials and is a fabulous decorator! You won't be sorry!

Elizabeth and I headed to Ooltewah and grabbed some  coffee at Wired Coffee Bar. Then we walked around Cambridge Square which is a place like out of the movies. It legit is a circle area with all these cute little shops and in the center is a common area you can hang out in. As you can see in the picture below  we had a small sunglasses mishap.

Our final destination was a place we had been eyeballing since it opened! It is called  Ooltewah Whistlestop and I love every single thing about this place!
The building is sort of a triangle shape with three levels built right next to a train track! I love love love trains! Inside the tile is so magical that I took numerous pictures of the floor! They are famous for their milkshakes. These are not just an ordinary milkshake though they are like this gold medal in the Olympics of milkshakes! Added bonus they have a gluten free option!  To make things even better at each table they have trivia cards for you to play while you wait! They also serve a wide variety of food that I have heard is delicious, but haven't tried it for myself yet. This first Saturday Adventure was the perfect beginning to what we now look so forward to each week! As always you can find more pictures and videos  of our Adventures saved to my highlights on my Instagram page at SaturdayAdventuresInThe423
