Adventures in St. Elmo!

Months ago we drove through St. Elmo on the way to a photo shoot and we decided right then and there to add it to the list of future adventures! I love a good brick building with some history and this place has all of that! You can read all about of St. Elmo right here

Today was the perfect day because the local plant store The Secret Garden was having an outdoor vendor market! Look at how cute this place is! Heaven on earth really for a plant lover like me.

We met so many great people and bought some really cute things which I will post pictures of in a jiffy. Let's talk coffee and food first! What good is a Saturday Adventure without a good cup of coffee am I right! We stopped at Goodman Coffee Roasters  where Elizabeth and I got our usual orders. I messaged Mr. T's Pizza and Ice cream  in advance to verify that they indeed had gluten free pizza which they did!  This made it was an easy decision where we were going to have lunch. You guys not only was the pizza yummy, but we both got mini pizzas and each got a drink for under $20! I can see why it is a town favorite!

As promised here are some pictures of what we purchased today with a link to each person's Instagram page.

We got these berry bowls from Sprouting Seeds by Tori  The yellow one will be used a pot for a plant and the other for berries.

Since I get an iced coffee each time we knew we had to have this shirt from Wander and Bloom

The Better Bakery had all gluten free items! We tried the coffee cake which was delicious, but they had several more options to chose from.

Of course we had to get the puppies some treats which they loved! Groot's Goodies are made with all easy to read ingredients which makes my heart happy!

Then I found another gluten free option and this also had the easy to pronounce/read ingredients listed as well! I love seeing what I am actually getting! Hippie Crunch has samples for you to try which was great!

I got this super cute hand painted watercolor bookmark from Pastiche Collective

Here is a picture The Secret Garden shared with a list of all the vendors who were there and a few more shots from today. There were also so many places we didn't get to check out like The Naughty Cat Cafe where all their cats are up for adoption! You can grab ice cream at Clumpies and ride the Incline Railway while in town as well. Other cute restaurants like 1885 which had a great outdoor eating area and the Purple Daisy Picnic Cafe.  Also be sure to check my instagram at Saturday Adventures in the 423 and watch  all the videos and photos from today saved to the highlights.
St. Elmo you were delightful and we totally enjoyed our day!
